Marvelous March

I can't believe March is already here! It has been a busy month! We closed out the month of February with Biography Blab...Sharing the information about the famous people and the desk tops that were created to go with the famous people. I enjoyed interviewing these selected folks and learning more about them. The kids had to write why they were famous on paper at their desk. It helped them remember and be able to recall and discuss them after the reports had been shared.
We have had quite a few sick children in the classroom. Thanks for keeping them home to get well. Please encourage your children to wash their hands as soon as they arrive at home...germs are everywhere! We are trying to get the children to wash hands after specials....bathroom, etc. Hopefully this will keep those of us well at school. The kids that have been out have been great about make-up work. Thanks for your support in this area.

Here are some things happening in the month of March....

January is really moving along...especially since we weren't in school the first week of this month. It was good to see all of the kids back on Tuesday. It was sad to not have Natalie back with us. She moved over the break to Paulding County and will continue third grade in that area. She and her sweet Mom will be missed. Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Rogers will be taking over the room mom duties for the rest of the year. Thanks in advance for helping them out. We want to welcome Carter to our class. He is from Michigan and moved in the area over the break. He is getting a lot of help from his new classmates on the rules and routines of our classroom.
