* We have had a great start with testing this week! Thanks to the parents for doing the practice tests at home. Four more days to go! Thanks for the great snacks and surpises that are coming in! We really look forward to snack after testing!
We celebrated Earth Day Tuesday by wearing green and blue. Our class wrote pledges and made Earth critters. I shared a neat book called Earth Day Birthday with the class. It was written like The Twelve Days of Christmas. We shared ways we can clean up our Earth and recycle. Our classs will be picking up trash as an activity to help the Earth.
*The Spring Fling was a big success! It was so good to see so many kids from our class there! It was a great day! Thanks to all who helped and donated time and items for the basket.
The next big event at our school is Evening in the Garden. There will be an Art Sale that night of all of the kid's art work!
*Please continue to check your child's agenda, sign it, and sign the papers sent home on Thursday. I will return them with a check on them. Thanks to all who are making the effort to do this.
I am looking forward to seeing and hearing your last book report on May 1st. If you need 4x6 cards or yarn let me know!
* Milkshake has a home for the summer! Josh will keep him over the summer months. I will have him back in the room when school begins, so you will have to come by and visit her! If anyone wants her for the weekend before school ends, let me know so we can plan for it.
If you read this blog write, "Go Braves!" in the signature square of your agenda! Have a great day and night! See you in class!
