Mrs. Barnett has been in Cobb County for twenty 25 years. Nineteen of those years have been in third grade and six years in fourth. She has been at Ford since it opened in 1991. Mrs. Barnett was born in Asheville, N.C. She grew up in Huntsville, AL. After high school graduation she attended Auburn University and graduated with a BS in Early Childhood. She later received her Masters Degree in Early Childhood from West Georgia College. She has been married for 22 years to Mr. Barnett. Her daughter is a freshman at University of Georgia, and her son is a senior at Allatoona High School. Mrs. Barnett enjoys spending time with her family; ball and church activities keep her busy. She does enjoy sewing, walking, and reading. She also likes the beach and going snow skiing with her family when she has time off from teaching.
