January is really moving along...especially since we weren't in school the first week of this month. It was good to see all of the kids back on Tuesday. It was sad to not have Natalie back with us. She moved over the break to Paulding County and will continue third grade in that area. She and her sweet Mom will be missed. Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Rogers will be taking over the room mom duties for the rest of the year. Thanks in advance for helping them out. We want to welcome Carter to our class. He is from Michigan and moved in the area over the break. He is getting a lot of help from his new classmates on the rules and routines of our classroom.
We started off the first week back with a visit from Cato. They learned about plants and animals of the regions in Georgia. We will be doing an animal project a little later in the quarter.
